Health and Well-Being
The University of Michigan recognizes its vital role in supporting the well-being of others and is committed to incorporating health-promoting values and principles into its mission, vision, and strategic plan.
You’ll have access to the University of Michigan Health Care System, nationally recognized for its research and treatment programs. Benefits-eligible graduate students receive a health care plan that includes prescription drug coverage, medically necessary gender-affirming services, and standard medical care for diagnosing and treating neurodevelopmental conditions. The College of Engineering also offers resources specifically for engineering students centered around supporting students and their families inside and outside the classroom.
